Over the last month I have been struggling. My body isn’t functioning like it used to. I feel drained, with aches and pains everywhere. I don’t feel in-sync with my body. I think the first thought would be to give myself a rest day but I have taken plenty of rest days! So needless to say I am frustrated. When I have been able to workout I wasn’t able to really give it my all. I am attempting to listen to my body but I don’t know what is trying to tell me.
But I think this is all stress related. I think my body slowly has started to shut down because I have been riding on fumes for so long. While I love my Boot Camp sessions I think I need an alternative until my body and my mind is back to 100%. With that said a good friend of mine suggested I try yoga. I explained I wasn’t a fan based on my initial experience, it was a little too mellow for me. But she then suggested for me to try 30 days of Yoga with Adriene. I watched her initial welcome video on YouTube and I have decided to give it a try. It is free and she offers to send over motivational emails through her site ! If anyone wants to participate with me in this 30 day challenge I will be starting on Sunday. See below…
I am learning through my journey that sometimes you have to change things up sometimes. As my body and routines are changing I need to continue to change as well.
